Our class learned about the life cycle of a butterfly..
It was great fun watching our caterpillars grow. Now they are in their cocoons. We hope to see our butterflies soon!

World Book Day

We learned about 'Pointillism', which is a technique of painting using dots to form an image. George Seurat developed the technique. The children in my class had fun trying out the technique!!

Teddy Bear 's Hospital
On Friday 23rd January 2015, The Clever Acorns and the Wise Oaks class were invited to the 'Teddy Bears Hospital' in NUIG. The children brought their sick or injured teddy's to the hospital. The doctors examined the teddys, took X - rays and gave them medicine. When all the teddys were better the children had fun on the slides, bouncing castle and getting their face painted. We all had such a fun time!!
Gardening Club!
Every Wednesday morning the Clever Acorns and the Wise Oaks class have 'Gardening Club' with Mùinteoir Karmel.
This week Mùinteoir Karmel showed us how to sow a seed, we all watched as it grew before our eyes. Thanks Mùinteoir Karmel and all the Mùinteoirì for all your help.
